Greater Dijon chooses Dalkia for its future heating network

Dalkia, a joint subsidiary of Veolia Environnment and EDF, has been awarded a 25-year design, build and operate contract for the new Greater Dijon district heating network. As much as 80% of the network's energy needs will come from renewable sources.

Dalkia bolsters its leadership of the European heating networks market with the attribution of EU's largest heating network

The European Commission has given the green light for the purchase by Dalkia Polska, a 60%-owned subsidiary of Dalkia International (60%) and IFM - Industry Funds Management (40%), of an 85% stake in SPEC SA (Stołeczne Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej), which manages the City of Warsaw's district heating network. This major foothold in Central Europe bolsters Dalkia's leadership in heating networks and energy services.

La Manche begins energy renovation of its real-estate assets and signs an energy performance partnership contract

On June 23, Jean François Le Grand, Chairman of the La Manche regional administration (Conseil Général) and Thierry Raison, Chief Executive of EDF Optimal Solutions, signed an energy performance partnership contract (known as a CPPE after its name in French), covering the energy renovation of 20 schools, three museums and the headquarters of the Conseil Général of the La Manche département.

Dalkia to install France's first geothermal heating network for an eco-neighborhood

As France's leading operator of geothermal systems, Dalkia is to install the country's first district heating network to be fueled by this type of technology. The network will heat the new Fort d'Issy-les-Moulineaux eco-neighborhood. Dalkia was unanimously selected by the developers of this neighborhood to build the private network and operate it for 25 years.
