Canada - Expansion of the heating and cooling network

The Montreal consortium CHUM Collectif, of which Dalkia is a member, recently won the tender for the Montreal University Hospital Center, which will be built in the middle of the central business district on a 285,000 square meter lot.

When the five-year construction project is complete, Dalkia will manage energy and provide multitechnical multiservices to the new university hospital (772 separate rooms and 39 surgical suites) for 34 years. It will be the biggest hospital in North America created under a publicprivate partnership. Plans call for heating the hospital via the Montreal network, which Dalkia has owned and operated in partnership with Gaz Métro since 2006.
